BZ Mobile Bar Rental & Dry Hire Bartending Services Retainer

This $1,000 non-refundable retainer reserves your event date for our Dry Hire Bartending Service, which includes the 8ft Bar Rental. This is not the final price. It secures your date while we finalize the full quote.

What the Final Price Covers

This retainer covers date reservation only. Your full quote will include:

• Base service for your selected duration (3-4, 5-6, or 7-8 hours)
• Per-guest charge ($10/guest, or $14/guest for heavy drinker events)
• Additional bartenders for larger events (2nd at 40+ guests, 3rd at 80+, 4th at 120+)
• Any add-ons selected (Specialty Ice, Branded Coasters/Cups, etc.)
• 20% gratuity
• Travel ($200 standard, free when bundled with a BZ tent rental)
• After-midnight surcharge if applicable

Service fees, per-guest charges, add-ons, gratuity, and travel are all itemized in your quote and invoiced separately from this retainer.

⚖️ Extended Service Hours: No 5-Hour Cap

Because BZ Tent Rentals provides bartending services under a dry-hire model (you provide your own alcohol; we provide the bar, bartenders, and premium ingredients), we are not subject to the 5-hour service cap that applies to licensed caterers under M.G.L. Chapter 138, §12C. Your event can run as long as you need, whether that's a 3-hour cocktail hour or an 8+ hour wedding reception. Additional hours beyond 8 are available at $215/hr for a single bartender, increasing by $130/hr for each additional bartender required by your guest count (a second bartender is added at 40+ guests, a third at 80+, a fourth at 120+).

3. Select your event date on the calendar below.
4. Pay the $1,000 retainer to lock in your reservation.
5. Final balance is due 30 days before your event.

What Happens After Your Retainer

Expect our first follow-up within 24-48 hours of your booking to confirm event details and start menu planning. We'll walk through your signature cocktail menu, finalize any add-ons, and lock in logistics. Your final balance is due 30 days before your event, and we confirm final menu and event details in the weeks leading up to your date.

Delivery & Setup

If you're bundling with a BZ tent rental, your bar will typically be delivered and broken down alongside the tent setup. For events without a tent rental, the bar is set up the day of your event and broken down after service ends.
